Construction

Every Loom & Leaf mattress is handcrafted in the USA and is made using ultra-premium materials. Beginning with the outer cover, this is crafted from organic cotton, and is designed to be hypoallergenic, soft and breathable. To help prevent mites, mildew, mold, and dust, the cover is also protected with Guardin®, a botanical, antimicrobial treatment.

Below the organic cotton cover you will find the first foam layer, a cooling, gel-infused material that houses the proprietary spinal zone for optimal support. Since memory foam tends to sleep quite hot, adding in a gel-infused foam helps to combat this common problem and this ultra-breathable foam does do an impressive job of helping you to stay cool while you sleep. Standing at 12” in height, the Loom & Leaf is typical in size for a memory foam mattress, but it’s the selectable firmness levels that help give it a more personalized feel. While each person will experience the mattress differently, there is a common consensus regarding how well it performs in terms of overall temperature, its ability to isolate motion, and how well it relieves pressure while you sleep. Heavier individuals, couples, or those who typically sleep on their stomach may find the firmness level differs from what is listed, but for the average sleeper the following ratings should be fairly accurate.

Loom & Leaf’s most popular firmness option is by far their Luxury Firm - a middle of the road choice for the average sleeper.
